 Avidiversity  AVITOPIA - Accentors

Scientific system: Clements et al.

Familia: Prunellidae

You can get "Checklist of the Accentors of Planet Earth" as an e-book here.

The range of the family of Accentors is restricted to Eurasia. They are small birds, 14.5 cm to 18 cm long. Most of the species live in the mountains, but one can also be found in urban parks. They are sedentary or withdraw from higher mountain areas in winter. The flexibility of the reproductive strategies is remarkable; all combinations of single and multiple males or females occur.
