Calyptophilus

The family of Chat-tanagers includes two species and is endemic to Hispaniola. The body length ranges from 18 cm to 21 cm. Chat-tanagers live in different mountain forests. They feed mainly on insects and other invertebrates. The nests are spherical and partially covered.
