The family of Cardinals is common in North and South America. They are about 12 cm to 24 cm long. They have very powerful, conical beaks and nine hand wings; the plumage has mostly bright colors in red, yellow or blue. Their habitat are bush and forest landscapes. They feed mostly on seeds.
