Birds of Cyprus

€ 7.49 *

Cyprus, the most eastern Mediterranean island, has two species not breeding anywhere else on earth. Furthermore, you can watch many bird species here that can be found nowhere else in Europe. Particularly interesting is Cyprus because of the many birds that migrate transitorily, as the island is located at the important migratory route from Eastern Europe to the Middle east. So you can find here colonies of Eleonora's Falcon, which raise their young feeding migratory songbirds caught over the open sea in autumn. BirdLife International pronounced Cyprus a Primary Endemic Bird Area (EBA-P).
