Birds of Bangladesh

€ 15.49 *

Bangladesh consists mainly of the world's largest estuary formed by the rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. Only a few hilly areas in the east of the country are covered by evergreen forest. The climate is dominated by the monsoon. The warm tropical climate results in exceptionally high avidiversity with more than 750 species. In addition, Bangladesh shares with neighboring countries two areas where a significant number of bird species with very small distribution areas live. These two areas - The Eastern Himalayas and the Assam Plains - have therefore been declared by BirdLife International 'Primary Endemic Bird Areas' (EBA-P). This means that a number of bird species can not or only with great difficulty be observed elsewhere.

This E-book bird guide for "Bangladesh" has been built at 30.04.2021, based upon our data base and our image archive using our default settings, and saved in two formates. Thereby it is made sure that the e-book can be displayed on virtually all devices and if applicable be printed out with a compact page size.
A free online-preview to the main section of the bird guide to Bangladesh - of course at today's state of the data base and the archive - is available at Bird guides customized. There you can not only obtain the current edition of "Birds of Bangladesh", but also modify the form in many ways.
