Birds of Georgia

€ 8.49 *

Georgia is located in the southern part of the Caucasus and is part of an area declared by BirdLife International to be primarily important for endemic bird species (EBA-P). In fact, e.g. the Caucasian Grouse has in Georgia its largest stocks. The four national parks of Georgia are among the most important nature reserves, the Lagodechi National Park has even been added to the list of UNESCO natural monuments. In addition, Georgia not only has a large variety of climate zones, but is also located on an important migratory bird route, so that the number of bird species that can be observed in Georgia, is extremely high.
