Birds of Kenya

€ 23.49 *

Kenya is famous for its savanna landscapes with their rich animal life. In fact, the country has much more to offer. The altitudes range from 0 (Indian Ocean) to 5199 m (Mt. Kenya). Climate zones range from tropical rainforests in the west to dry desert climates in the north. The result is a large variety of habitats - including birds - that are preserved in Kenya by a variety of national parks and nature reserves. As a result, Kenya, with over a thousand bird species, is one of the best bird watching countries in the world. The protected areas, which are famous for their mammals, are usually also excellent destinations for birdwatchers.
