Birds of the Dominican Republic

€ 6.99 *

The Dominican Republic is becoming a very attractive birding destination. Many of the endemic Hispaniolan birds occur there, including the Palm Chat, two todies, and a trogon. So BirdLife International declared the Dominican Republic part of a Primary Endemic Bird Area (EBA-P). Most of the best birds can be found in the mountainous regions in the Southwest of the Country (Jaragua and Sierra de Baoruco). BirdLife International has designated a total of 21 areas as IBAs (Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas), i.e. as sites of global importance for the conservation of bird life.

This E-book bird guide for "Dominican Republic" has been built at 25.02.2025, based upon our data base and our image archive using our default settings, and saved in two formats.
